24 Channel 30m Snake Cable

A 24-channel, 30-meter snake cable is a crucial piece of equipment in audio engineering, especially in live sound and recording environments where multiple audio signals need to be routed efficiently and cleanly. The cable features 24 individual channels, allowing for the transmission of 24 separate audio signals simultaneously. Each channel is typically color-coded or numbered for easy identification. The cable is 30 meters long, providing ample length for connecting audio sources, such as microphones, instruments, or line-level devices, to a mixing console or audio interface located at a distance from the stage or recording area. The cable consists of multiple individual audio cables bundled together within a durable outer jacket. Each individual cable within the bundle is typically shielded to minimize interference and crosstalk between channels, ensuring clean and noise-free signal transmission. The cable terminates with connectors on both ends to facilitate easy connection to audio equipment. Common connector types include XLR connectors for balanced audio signals or TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) connectors for balanced or unbalanced signals. Despite its length and multiple channels, the cable is designed to remain flexible for easy handling and routing. This flexibility allows for convenient cable management and reduces the risk of tangling or kinking during setup and use.The cable is built to withstand the rigors of professional use in live sound and recording environments. It features robust construction with high-quality materials to ensure durability and longevity, even under demanding conditions such as touring or frequent setup and teardown. The cable is compatible with a wide range of audio equipment, including mixing consoles, stage boxes, audio interfaces, and various types of microphones and instruments. It provides a versatile solution for routing audio signals in professional audio setups. The cable is commonly used in live sound reinforcement setups, recording studios, broadcast facilities, theaters, and other audio production environments where multiple audio sources need to be connected to a central mixing or recording device. It facilitates efficient signal routing and enables seamless communication between various audio components. The cable may feature labeling or marking at regular intervals along its length to identify individual channels, making it easier to trace and manage connections during setup and troubleshooting.
